We set out to prove that Olipop is the most delicious way to get the fiber and gut support people actually need. Consumers know fiber and prebiotics are important—but the usual options aren’t exactly appealing. From nuts that get stuck in your teeth to bone broth with an off-putting smell, or diet sodas filled with artificial sweeteners, the experience often feels like a chore rather than a treat. Using downward comparison, we developed simple, witty ads built around the structure: “Both are (benefit). Only one is a drawback.” Each execution highlights an everyday frustration, then positions Olipop as the enjoyable, great-tasting alternative—a solution that delivers functional benefits without sacrificing flavor or fun.
